Handcuff and Baton Warranty Information

Smith & Wesson Model 100-1 handcuffs are backed by a lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty ensures repair or replacement by S&W if a defect is found, it is generally voided by misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or unauthorized alterations. The handcuffs are constructed of nickel-plated carbon steel with heat-treated internal lock works for durability. We always suggest cleaning the cuffs with dish soap and water, then oil with a very light oil (3 in 1) or even WD40 before re-issuing. Please contact us, not Smith and Wesson, if you think you have a pair that would be covered under warranty as we will take care of you.

ASP provides a lifetime warranty for the Sentry handcuffs, covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty includes free repair or replacement for qualified, defective products, but excludes damage from misuse, normal wear-and-tear, and cosmetic damage. Follow the cleaning and oiling procedure outlined above for the S&W cuffs and contact us if you think you are eligible for a warranty replacement pair.

Smith & Wesson SWBAT21 (21-inch Heat Treated Collapsible Baton) is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. The warranty covers manufacturer's defects in workmanship, construction, or materials under normal use and conditions. The warranty generally does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, or improper use (such as using the baton as a pry bar or hitting extremely hard, non-yielding surfaces). If a defect is found, the product is usually repaired or replaced. Once again, contact us if you think you are eligible for a warranty replacement.

The item(s) in question would need to be returned to us at your expense. Once inspected and deemed qualified we will replace your item free of charge.
